Sammy Heenan with his wife Julie and one of their daughters Katie at the book launch of Tears & Memories in Rathfriland on Friday night.

Along with them is TEAR Chairperson Hilary. Sammy's memories of the fatal day his father William Heenan was murdered by the Provisional IRA on 3 May 1985 are told in the book. Sammy, who was aged just 12 at the time, heard his father being shot and then was the first to find his body in their yard at their home in Legananny.
